Charles Rinek has specialized in building luxury
custom family homes full time since 1986. He and his
wife Jeanne and his team work closely with each client
to ensure that all of their questions are answered and
options explained in order to tailor homes to their
specific needs. We listen and we produce. As a result,
our reputation for quality and services stands firmly on
customer satisfaction. Indeed most of our work comes
through satisfied clients who recommend us to their
family, friends and prospective buyers. We have
developed a stellar reputation in our community, having
placed first for design and craftsmanship or in Best of
Show or Showcase Home in each Parade of Homes entered.
Charles’ experience with construction started in 1976,
working for a Florida Certified General Contractor as an
apprentice tradesman. Over the ensuing years he was
thoroughly trained in various phases of home building
“in the field" by learning to perfect proficient skills
for each task undertaken. Charles was employed as a job
superintendent during his college years (University of
Florida) and qualified to sit for the Florida Certified
General Contractor's exam at a comparatively early age.
After receiving his General Contractors license, Charles
pursued his passion and began designing and constructing
custom homes in the Florida Keys. Throughout the ensuing
years he has built for various dedicated customers in
different locations as they requested he travel to many
locations throughout Florida, Colorado and Oregon.
Settling in Palm Coast in 1992, he was determined to
make a definitive statement in excellent home building.
History has shown that he has and will continue to do
just that, and his respect in the community has been
earned home by home.
Jeanne Rinek has also been involved in the construction
business for over twenty years. Her professional
expertise in office management, in customer relations,
and interior design are just some of the talents that
that help her make the entire team run smoothly and
efficiently. Working together, Charles and Jeanne prove
to be an exciting pair that has dedicated themselves to
reaching their common goal; one that serves their
clients every need while building homes of unequaled
quality.
Charles & Jeanne remain dedicated to each and every
customer, each exceptional employee, to their
respectable profession and to living in tune with their
moral and religious beliefs. Charles is currently
serving as Immediate Past President for the Flagler
County / Palm Coast Home Building Association for the
2007 term. In this capacity, he is proud to promote our
field of interests for our industry and those of our
community. Having served as the HBA President in 2004
and again in 2006, he continues his dedication to the
construction industry as he advocates responsible
legislative restraints that will serve the various
interests of the home buyer. Charles was further honored
to have been chosen to be Flagler County’s Builder of
The Year in 2006, and received the Realtor’s Choice
Award during the 2008 Parade of Homes.
Like most successful organizations, this company
revolves around the efforts of an excellent team. Each
home that our team builds is specifically designed to
fit a particular customer's needs and budget
requirements. To have a true "custom" home built, the
process requires more than simply choosing a few
features from a short options list for a particular
standard floor plan. It means perfecting individual
ideas for each customer's "Dream Home". This may be
initiated with the development of a unique floor plan
design or through the review of a plan designed by
others and furnished through the client. We then carry
the preconstruction process through with an intensive
study which covers all of the many options which are
available for a particular plan. We remain passionate
about perfecting this process. With each client, a truly
custom home is carefully created to fit their desire for
style, size, functionality, and personality fit.
As you know, home plans and features will vary greatly
and therefore the pricing for each home will appear to
have a difference as well. We strive to assemble a
complete home building package that covers all the
details of each phase of construction in order to
address all the necessary costs of the total project.
This is a "holistic" approach which leaves no stone
uncovered and the result is a realistic view of all that
is necessary for you to know the exact costs of your
project from start to finish. We may then modify the
size or features of the home to ensure that you will not
be spending more on your home than your budget allows.
This is extremely important to all of us who will be
involved so that you will be comfortable and delighted
with your home as you enjoy the building process without
unnecessary stress.
The most advanced building products which are available
will be utilized to ensure lasting quality and ensure an
ease of maintenance. We must construct our homes using
what we know to be the best available materials and most
professional building practices. We strive to
incorporate the latest in design and features in an ever
changing home product market; we continue to initiate
our own unique ideas which set a new standard for
exciting detail. We require that each home uses the most
practical advances in energy conservation design. As a
result, we are confidant that each client receives the
most in home building quality available for their
investment.
For most custom homes, an accurate predetermined cost
per square foot guide used for comparison may not be a
useful tool for the prospective home buyer. One must be
aware that pricing will vary according to plan specific
features such as the complexity of exterior and interior
design (ceiling heights, ceiling treys, multi story
volume spaces) the roof design (complexity and roof
surface material), flooring variations, (carpet, tile,
wood, etc.) to name just a few. Lot development cost
inclusions as well as neighborhood guideline
requirements also need to be factored in order to create
an accurate package cost. It is also true that when
researching home pricing that various home's Living
Areas are important to compare, but a factor that is
just as important is the total area under roof. A larger
Rear Porch, for example, does not affect the Living
Area, but it will increase the cost, as will the cost of
the finished surfaces, such as a tiled deck or porch
finish application. The inclusions of these spaces and
any specified monetary allowances for individual items
are also critical figures to compare.
An often overlooked set of factors in a comparing
home-building packages are those of the traits of the
individual builders as well as the subcontractors each
employs. Competency and trust are intangible traits
which are hard to put dollar figures on. Who is actually
the “qualified” builder and who runs the daily
operations are not always one in the same person. As a
regulated State Certified General Contractor, Charles is
proud to offer to you the expertise ensured by those who
hold this highest and most regulated grade of
professional contractor license available from Florida's
Bureau of Professional Regulation. As the actual license
holder for his company, he alone qualifies his business
and remains solely responsible to his clientele.
Individual subcontractors are paid according to their
experience and level of expertise; the great ones
command a higher price and the work that they perform is
very evident as to the inherent quality in the end
result of their labors. Those subcontractors who cover
themselves adequately as to the required insurance
policies and those who are properly licensed must charge
accordingly for their services. Our team of
subcontractors represents the best that America has to
offer. We are blessed to have hired a finely crafted
team of ultimately qualified and experienced
professionals who each take pride in their workmanship.
